| Kingsport Locals - Join us at our Annual Conference for only $75 per guest. Retirees Are On The Move Again - Are They Coming Your Way? After a few years of trepidation, fear, and slow sales, a more stable economy - and the sheer number of retirement-aged Baby Boomers – is driving the recovery in real estate purchases by retirees. Established communities are seeing strong growth -in some cases sales have more than doubled from just 2 or 3 years ago. How are they doing it? Are the strategies and tactics employed before the downturn appropriate for today's (and tomorrow's, and next week's) retiring Baby Boomer? What will compel them to your community or region? We all have questions, and the decisions made over the next 12-18 months will determine who will best capitalize on that Baby Boomer wave. Success breeds success, and at the 2012 Annual Conference of the American Association of Retirement Communities you will hear from and interact with industry leaders who have driven results. Noted researchers can offer you perspectives on retiree attraction that you can incorporate into your marketing and economic development strategies, and presentations from civic, media and marketing leaders - folks who have actually moved the needle - will help you to prioritize your efforts. All in one place and in one ultra-efficient event, the 2012 AARC Annual Conference will be held in lovely Kingsport Tennessee; a region that has seen more than its share of economic growth, with help from some timely and specific retiree attraction strategies. Strategic thinking and efficiency is for the budget conscious, and so is the event: registration for over 2 days of education, networking and maybe even a little fun is just $375 for AARC members - and there is an "early bird" discount that saves you even more. |
